Children’s Week is upon us again and this year’s theme is ‘Children have the right to choose their own friends and safely connect with others’ and is based on Article 15 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Children’s Week celebrates the talents, skills and achievements of children, and their right to connect with others and respectfully share their views.
This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are supporting children to safely connect with others by transforming our Messy Play Day into Take Away style! We have 100 Take Away Messy Play boxes to go to local families!
To make it even better, thanks to the Victorian Government all Children’s Week events are free of charge to Victorian families with children aged 0-12 years, so that all families can participate in fun, engaging and educational experiences. Our event is one of over 115 free Children’s Week events supported by the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
To order your FREE Take Away Messy Play box, simply click the “order now” button below. To allow as many children as possible to share in the joy of messy play, there is an order limit of ONE box per family. Pick up of ordered boxes is from the Wangaratta Community Toy Library on Friday 29th October 2021.
